This is great news for me as I am a big Chevrolet fanatic as well. Its cars like these that made love the Formula D series. As you may remember Falken Team had a 1969 Chevy Camaro Drift car driven by Ryan Hampton. It was only a matter of time until somebody stir up the Formula D world… latest entry into Formula D is Hankook Tire sponsored 2010 Camaro SS driven by Conrad Grunewald who drove the Tanaka Racing Red Corvette at the previous Formula D. I’ve always wished that somebody would tinker around with the latest Chevy Camaro and my wish was answered the day after my birthday. I am really looking forward to this car and for it to go up against the Falken Mustang. This Camaro houses a LS6 6.2L Big Block V8 to slide this Heavy Chevy and lots of carbon fiber body panels to minimize the weight. It has been givin the proper chassis treatment for drifting… now Im thinking that Chrysler needs to come with their very own Challenger in Formula D and that would complete the rivalry and the rebirth of the true Muscle Cars… Love it or hate it, point blank, its doing a whole lot for the sport and keeps things interesting… Here are renderings of it and links for stories.
