This is the sick RC Drift track at Spocom Hawaii that went down this past Saturday the 27th.  An exhibition track that was assembled and custom made by the guys at Hyperdrift Hawaii.  There is really not much to say about it other than it was a sick and fun track to run on…

Its almost here and the days just keeps slipping away.  SpoCom is next week Saturday the 28th and if you haven’t seen this 1 of many flyers on facebook from Sukebe Inc. then here is your chance to look at it.

Hyperdrift Hawaii’s HD1 Season 2 started this past Sunday with Round1 at NAPA Waipahu from 3pm to closing. Qualifying started at 430pm for Best 16 Drivers and then to the Tandem Drift Comps from Best 16 to Great 8 then Top 4, and then the  Finals. There were a good mixture of CSD cars going at it with the 50/50 cars. Regulation Non-Threaded HPI T-Drift Tires and Tamiya Super Driftechs tires only with 2 new implementations for this season regarding ability to switch Body & Chassis if needed. This will definitely make this season an interesting one. This season will also be at faster intervals at about every 2 weeks or so following each event.

So back to the comp. and the Finals ended up with Alvin(50/50) and Jeff(CSD) goint at it with numerous OMT(one more time) runs and Jeff proved victorious with the cleanest run.

Congratulations to Jeff… HD1 Season2’s Round1 Champ.

Team Slideways Hawaii now has a facebook page for anyone that wants to contact them or to just check out what they are doing. They also have a section at the forums  solely just for them. But to get up-to-date happenings on them, their constantly on facebook.

As you may already know by now that hsm.com is closely affiliated with Team Slideways due to the many events we’ve shared with them and team member Felgood has built 2 of the hsm.com bodies.

Peep the 2 Chevrolet Camaros that will be availabe in the near future. This was on the European model expo of some sort. I’ve heard and seen peeks of the 2010 Camaro and heard whispers of the 1969 Camaro but after spotting this. This just validates the item.  Big ups to HPI for having giving us this. I am very sure that a lot of people are happy to see this. I know I am because now I can have Felgood Customs work on an exact Falken Camaro replica and Hankook Camaro.

Team Saiko - All Star Bash 2010

Went down at the 2010 Build The Track car show at Aloha Tower Market Place.

All Star Bash (ASB) is hosted by the guys and ladies at Team Saiko. A Tandem Drift comp and Body compitition. ASB is sponsored by RC Drift Park Yokohama, Vertex, HPI Racing, Yokomo, Hobbietat, hsm.com, On Point screen printing & designs, and Team Slideways.

Tandem Drift Winners - 1st place Marshun & 2nd place Curtis

The Tandem Drift comp had some of the sickest door-to-door bangers. Many fell victim to the a challenging track due to tight layout which made it very challenging and the variety of track surfaces. Regulation on tires made it a very challenging surface with the use of HPI T-Drifts only. D1 Grand Prix style judging was implemented and with that came some of the sickest passes and trials… The Tandem Drift Comp went to Marshun who was awarded an HPI Racing Cup Racer kit, a set of HPI T-Drifts, a set of HPI Works XSA rims, Vertex special edition decal set, Falken shirt & cap, and alum. adjustible body posts by RC Drift Park Yokohama. Second place went to Curtis winning a Falken Jada Toys Rig, cap, & shirt, a set of HPI Racing T-Drifts, & Works XSA rims, and a Vertex special edition decal set.

Body Comp - 1st/ Felgood, 2nd/Marshun, and 3rd/Randon

The Body Comp had some fierce compitition with lots of sick mods and schemes. There’s Roy’s Mad Mike Redbull/NFS Mazda RX8 replica, Chris’ sick BMW, Jay’s flaked out Chaser & smooth LS VIP, and whole lot of sick rides. 1st place went to Felgood with a AE86 Hachi Levin, 2nd place went to Marshun with a flaked out ventilated Lexus GS, and 3rd place went to Randon with his version of Drift Extreme S13.  All winners received a variety of prizes from all the sponsors and its too much to list.

There were also raffle prizes given out with a Associated TC4 for the main prize and that went out to Randon’s girl. Prize packs were handed out to lucky ones.

It was definitely one of the fun comps attended and great comps throughout. Congratulations to all the winners and special thanks to Team Saiko for a great event, Roy, Jason, Smokey, all the sponsors who made this comp all the more special, and to those I forgot to mention.

Check out this very well executed Suzuki Swift with the Bikes that perfectly suits the car and its to scale with it. I love it when builders pay close attention to details. Nicely done and the graphics is very good. I think this is a Mini chassis like the Genetics, Tamiya M, Cupracers, etc…

This right here is another great product from Hot Racing as well. This is their own version of an aluminum steering linkage kit for the hpi.racing E10. If you own one you definitely know the how much slack the stock E10 steering has. With this hop-up it will minimize that problem and makes the kit looks great. If you haven’t already noticed that there already 4 different types of hop-up steering linkage kit options for the E10 (Yeah Racing, Atomic RC, hpi.racing, and now Hot Racing). I also saw this on ebay.com as well and you can also order it online at Hot Racing’s sitel.
